This blog will be about my journey as a knitwear designer, about the projects I knit and things that inspire me.
I’m a mother of two, a maker and a designer. I love creating beautiful things and for years I thought that doing actual work as a creative was something totally unattainable for me. Then we had our first baby boy and as he grew, so did my dreams. I started feeling that taking my life into my own hands would not only be possible, but necessary. I started dreaming of many things, but essentially I dreamt of change. Slowly I started adjusting what “work” means to me and today, Rouheaknits is part of what I’ve come up with.
